Whenever you spot a soldier on the sidewalk, you can throw one of the weapons you've collected at them, and they'll thank you in return. There are various types of weapons and you must make sure the correct one is selected before you throw it. Also, you need to keep an eye on your fuel tank. If it runs empty before you reach the end of the level you lose. You can prevent this by collecting fuel along the way.
